Erin Kimelman research associate / quality systems coordinator
What role do you play at kisquared?
I work on a variety of projects from beginning to end (from proposal submission to final reporting). I enjoy meeting with clients at the start of a project to help them determine the best research methods to meet their objectives, and again at project completion so I can see our research findings in action. I also share the role of quality systems coordinator with Shiyan Jin, which means I monitor adherence to our quality policies and procedures and drive continuous improvement in all that we do.
What do you like about working at kisquared?
I enjoy being a part of the great team we have here at kisquared. It’s an honour to work with such a talented and intelligent group of people. We rely on each other to ensure that we are consistently providing our clients with great service and actionable research findings. I also really enjoy the variety of work we undertake – we’re always delving into new sectors and conducting different types of research.
Your best kisquared moment?
Receiving my Essential Skills Analyst certification. Essential Skills training has given me valuable insight into the many labour market research studies kisquared has undertaken recently.
When let out of the office, I like to...
Spend time with friends and family, often playing games. From cards to board games to bocce ball – I’m a major games addict. Some may say I have a bit of a competitive streak, but I think I just have an interest in friendly competition. In the summer, I golf as often as I can to take full advantage of those precious few months when we’re not in the deep freeze.
